Writing in one genre is not enough for these authors, Caroline and Linda both write across different genres – but how does that work? Find out how their books are positioned for different markets and how publishers and readers view a change of direction.
Caroline Bond was born in Scarborough and studied English at Oxford University before working as a market researcher for 25 years. She has an MA in Creative Writing from Leeds Trinity University, and lives in Leeds with her husband and three children.
Caroline’s latest book The Day We Left will be released in paperback on 2nd November 2023.
Linda Green is the bestselling author of eleven novels, which have sold 1.5million copies and been translated into 12 languages. Her previous novels have been selected for the BBC Radio 2 Book Club and the Richard and Judy Book Club.
Linda, who lives in West Yorkshire, is a former journalist and has written for The Guardian, The Independent on Sunday, The Times Educational Supplement and The Big Issue.
Linda’s latest book In Little Stars was released in paperback in August 2023.
