As part of the Farsley Literature Festival we are thrilled that Dr Kate Lister writer of A Curious History of Sex, will be joining us at The Constitutional for a fascinating evening of discussion. This one will be fun.
Dr Kate Lister is Senior Lecturer in English Literature at Leeds Trinity University. She is the author of A Curious History of Sex (Unbound, 2020) and has also published in the medical humanities, Victorian Studies, and medievalism. Her most recent book, Harlots, Whores, and Hackabouts: A History of Sex for Sale was published by Thames and Hudson in 2021. She is the host of the Betwixt the Sheets Podcast and tweets about her research under the alias @WhoresofYore
